Under the Data Protection Act 1998, you have a right to access/view information we hold about you, and to have it amended or removed should it be inaccurate. 

Access can only be denied if there are compelling reasons.

Patients in this practice have always been given full access to their medical notes. If there is anything you do not understand or find upsetting please speak to a receptionist who will pass your concern on to a doctor as appropriate.

The Practice is fully computerised. (Registered under the General Data Protection Regulation).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use information collected lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (which is overseen by the Information

Commissioner’s Office), Human Rights Act, the Common Law Duty of Confidentiality, and the NHS Codes of Confidentiality and Security.
